Sniper School is a shoot’em up game, with different game types, and it’s played with the mouse only. Aim up, down, right and left with the mouse, and to shoot use the left-click.
When you start the game, you have a “Welcome to the target range” menu, where you can choose 3 kinds of training games before going beginning the mission. The 3 training games are the following:
- Play-Shot, where you have limited ammunition and the objective is to hit flying targets. First round you have 3 bullets for 1 target, second round you have 4 bullets for 2 targets, third round, 5 bullets for 3 targets, and so on. The difficulty increases by each level, with more targets, and less bullets.
- Man-Hunt, targets are coming your way, and you lose a life if they reach you, you have 4 lifes. You also got unlimited ammunition in this training session, only need to click Reload when bullets are over. Be ware that every second you last, the targets also get better, coming out more regularly, faster and stronger. Check your score in the upper-left, and the time duration on the upper-right.
- Shoot-It-Up, this is a special and tricky train. You got unlimited ammunition, and the objective is to keep the target in the air as much time as possible. If the target reaches the ground your score goes back to zero. You can view you record on the left-upper corner, and your current hits in the right-upper corner.
After training for a bit, you can pass to the mission of the game itself.
Press the “Begin Mission” button in the welcome menu, and you’ll receive info in the mission briefing. After the briefing, the scenario is a building with some windows, out of those windows pop out your enemies. In the first level, the enemies are blue, and they’re the easiest ones. Second level, they’re red and you need more then one bullet to kill them…
The difficulty increases by level, so be careful and pay attention on the third level. Only kill your enemies!
This is a funny and exciting game, where you can spend quite a good training to get good, and then go to the mission.
