Skull Kid is a violence type of game, it may be a bit boring during the first part (floor one), but the other parts of the game, make up for it.
In the first level of Skull Kid, – The Chainsaw – there is not much skill involved, since the only thing you need to do, is chainsaw everything that gets in front of you, from tables, machines, and people too.
The floor two of this game is – The Shootout – which is clearly more fun, and with more skill involved. In this level, you have a weapon with infinite munitions, and the objective – as it happens in every part of the game – is to kill the people that get in your way. All the opponents have a different kind of weapon, starting with an easy one, and getting difficult by the way you proceed, and also all shoot differently, making the game more challenging.
The last part – The Boss’ Room – is very similar to the initial part, where you just needed to chainsaw the opponents, but in this case, it’s the big boss, and after killing him, something funny happens, you’ll have to finish to find it out!
Use the directional keys (left and right) to move the Skull Kid, space to use the chainsaw, or if you have a gun, to shoot. Use the up and down keys to stand up, or duck when you’re in a middle of a shootout. You can also change the quality of the graphics in the middle of the game, by pressing 1 for low quality, 2 for medium, 3 for high, and 4 for smart quality. To turn on/off the background music, press “s”.
In terms of graphics and sound, these are top quality for this type of game.
Here are some tips for the Shootout Part:
- For the first opponent, stand up, shoot quickly, and duck, he is a bit slow, so its not very difficult to pass this one without getting hit. If you are quick enough, he will shoot when you are already ducked.
- For the second opponent, stand up, duck, then stand up again and shoot, all this very quickly.
- For the third and fourth opponent, do the same as the last tip.
- Always shoot 2 times, instead of one, unless your opponent is quick.
