The blue soldier called Mega man is ready for action in this cool platform game. Get ready for some action, to destroy robots and pass obstacles, to jump and climb walls.
This is demo version of Mega man, but its still a very good game with some of features that most games don’t offer. A background rock music gives the feel for the game, and makes you want to start playing. You start with 3 lives, but when you start playing you can see how many lives you still got in the upper left corner, you can also see your energy bar there.
You can read information about your enemies in the Instructions menu, how they attack and how much damage can they do. Instead of using the default keys, you can also reconfigure. These are unusual features in these kind of games, but they’re pretty good, making this version of Mega man stand out in the crowd.
The default keys are the following:
Left arrow and Right arrow to walk and move in the air, Up arrow to jump, and space bar to shoot (to fire a charged blast, hold down the space bar for a few seconds). End to Dash, and Home to Pause. You can shoot while in the air, and its very useful to destroy one of your flying opponents.
Quick starting walk-threw:
After starting the game, and jumping the first 3 platforms, you’ll confront your first enemy. A tank shooting fire blasts at you, and the only way to dodge these, is to jump. You can easily destroy the tank with 3 charged blasts, or you can keep shoot and jump a few simple shots. You have to destroy the tank to keep on moving.
The next enemy will be a flying object.. it doesn’t shoot but moves rather quickly, you can kill him with one single charged blast. To have a clear shot for the next robots, you can fall and jump to the next platform to kill them. After you’re done with the jumping and killing a few more enemies, a green guy with a shield can cause you trouble. They key is to not to use charged blats, because they’re slower, and instead use simple shots. Just keep shooting till he removes the shield, and to dodge his shots, cling the wall right in front of you. Just jump to the wall and keep pressing the right arrow.
