Neo is once again flying, destroying everything that gets on his way: agents or sentinels.
You control Neo with the mouse, move it up, down, left and right, and he will fly in that direction. He has 2 different weapons: a gun with unlimited ammunition and a sword. While in the game, you can either keep clicking the left button of your mouse to shoot the gun, and the space to use the sword, or there is a cool option you can choose Auto-Shoot, and Auto-Sword, that makes Neo use the weapons automatic, non-stop. This is an option that can take away the feeling of the game, but its good if you just want to relax and control Neo flying. You can check your current score, and level in the bar located low in the game. That’s also where you can choose the Auto options. If you look at the top part, you can see pictures of flying Neo’s, that is how many lives you still have left, and you start with 10. Press P to pause the game.
The objective of Matrix Fighter, is to destroy all the agents and sentinels while flying. The only way that you can loose health, is either by getting hit by one of your enemies, or getting hit by the bullets that the agents shoot. A simple way to make your enemies stay away from you is using the sword, but be careful when you’re using the sword against the agents, they might shoot and it’s a bit difficult to dodge.
Buildings are the background scenario for all the levels, and they do give the look for a fighting scene, with the broken windows and storm lights that usual appear, it gives you the feeling to fight.
In terms of graphics the game is good, the sentinels are very detailed and the blood factor is very well made. The audio section is equally good.
